To be able to compete with this prestigious team, Aguirre had to train very hard to become the swimmer he is today.

Pearson began weightlifting her freshman year as a Mustang and has continued ever since. “My mom actually wanted me to try it out to see if I liked it and it stuck, which I’m thankful for because now I do it Olympically.

Chapin has been swimming her whole life, and has been as a Mustang swimmer since her freshman year. “Individually I want to stand on podium for the top three this season,” stated Chapin.

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS varsity softball team’s season came to and end Tuesday. The girls finished with a 2-1 loss against Countryside High School in the class 8A Regional Semifinals playoff game. “We made some simple errors,” said Junior Mackenzie Meyer. “Countryside is a good team. We went into the game confident but they managed to load the bases on us, which is where they got their tie breaking run.”.

The boys varsity baseball team has a record of 3-1. There next game is at 7:00 on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at home. As a freshman, before her transfer to LRHS, Krstec attended North Port High School, running the 4 x 200 meters and 4 x 1600 meters in track, breaking both records with her team.
